Role Summary

SMART DISCOUNT SAVINGS Ltd is seeking an energetic, results driven Marketing agent to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis in Kigali. This individual will play a central role in growing our membership base and expanding our partner network. As the face of Smart Discount Savings, you will introduce households, students and corporate employees to the benefits of membership, while also building strong relationships with businesses interested in becoming discount partners. The role also involves active participation in team meetings and regular reporting on performance metrics and customer trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell membership plans (Monthly and Annual) to individuals, students and corporate clients.
  • Identify and approach potential partner businesses: Engineering companies, Supermarkets, Pharmacies, Restaurants, Hotels, Transport, Hardware, Clothing shops, Gyms, Salons and more to join the discount network.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and membership growth targets.
  • Explain membership benefits clearly, including savings of 3%–20% across partner categories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both members and partners to encourage renewals and repeat business.
  • Represent the company at community events, markets and corporate outreach activities.
  • Support the onboarding process for new members and new partners.
  • Track leads, sales activity and customer feedback and report regularly to management.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing insights on customer trends and market opportunities.
  • Stay informed on partner offers, promotions and membership plan updates to accurately advise prospective members.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A Level or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 0-3 years of experience in marketing, customer service or business development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and mobile apps for tracking sales and membership data.
  • Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English; French or additional languages are a plus.
  • A genuine passion for helping households save money and building lasting customer relationships.

  • Confident public speaker, comfortable representing the brand at events and outreach activities.
  • Highly organized, with good time management and follow up discipline.
