Job Summary
The Mathematics & Physics Educator is responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that inspire students to develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific thinking skills. The successful candidate will create an inclusive learning environment that supports academic excellence while promoting the values of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Green Hills Academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics and Physics lessons.
- Design learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and inquiry.
- Assess student learning using formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate assessment and student progress records.
- Integrate technology into classroom instruction.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
- Participate in curriculum planning and departmental meetings.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification/licensure.
- Relevant years of teaching experience.
- Experience in an IB, Cambridge, or international curriculum is preferred.
