Responsibilities or duties
- Assist in plant disease diagnostics and pathology experiments
- Collect and process plant samples for disease analysis.
- Prepare media, reagents, and solution for laboratory use.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including sample information, diagnostic results, and experimental data.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, and other relevant instruments.
- Support disease screening in laboratory and greenhouse settings
- Data analysis and preparation of technical reports
- Ensure implementation of biosafety and waste management procedures.
- Provide technical support to plant pathologists and other researchers and laboratory personnel
- Ensure timely planning, requisition and procurement of Lab materials/ consumables and equipment,
- Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment, for personnel, customers, equipment and facilities
- Ensure effective and efficient management of resources and assets under his responsibilities
- Support laboratory inventory management
- Undertake other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology
- Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Protection
- Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology
- Bachelor's degree in Plant Pathology
Experience needed
- 5 Years of relevant experience

Exams to be conducted: 1:PsychometricTest 2:Written 3:Oral
