About the Role
Seeking an exceptional professional to lead procurement operations to source effectively and save money for the program, reinforce controls, build team capacity, and drive execution excellence in our procurement operations.
Responsibilities
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Procurement Team
- Manage, coach, and develop a multi-level procurement team, setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable for results.
- Identify skill gaps and support continuous professional development.
Deliver Efficient, Cost-Effective Procurement Execution
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services that meet specifications, quality standards, and cost targets.
- Maintain accurate procurement data and documentation across all systems.
- Coordinate quality assurance activities and ensure adherence to best procurement practices.
Drive Cost Savings & Strategic Procurement Initiatives
- Lead and support strategic projects aimed at reducing costs and improving procurement efficiency.
- Partner with internal teams to optimise spend, consolidate demand, and improve purchasing decisions.
- Support strategic sourcing and supplier optimisation initiatives.
Strengthen Procurement Processes, Controls & Compliance
- Review and improve procurement processes, policies, and systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and customer service.
- Implement standardised practices that reduce risk, save time, and improve value for money.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement governance requirements.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of work experience in a related field.
- People management experience required.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics Management, or related field.
