About the Program

The Money Makeover Challenge 2.0 (MMC 2.0) is a national youth financial literacy initiative implemented by iDebate Rwanda in partnership with BK Foundation. The program aims to equip secondary school students with practical financial skills through a hybrid learning model that combines online modules, school-based mentorship, competitions, and a national television series.

MMC 2.0 will reach over 6,000 students across more than 100 schools in Rwanda and promote responsible financial decision-making among young people.

Position Summary

iDebate Rwanda is seeking a Program Manager to lead the implementation of the Money Makeover Challenge 2.0.

The Program Manager will oversee program delivery across schools, coordinate mentors and partners, manage competitions and events, and ensure successful implementation of program activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall implementation of the MMC 2.0 program
  • Coordinate mentor training and school partnerships
  • Oversee the rollout of financial literacy modules across participating schools
  • Organize provincial and national competitions
  • Coordinate with partners and media teams supporting the television series
  • Monitor program progress and ensure targets are achieved
  • Produce program reports and documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Development Studies, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 4–6 years of experience in program management
  • Experience managing youth or education programs is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex projects
