Lead and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships to advance resource mobilization objectives, align funding opportunities with national and organizational priorities, strengthen donor positioning and stewardship, influence development agendas, negotiate partnerships and consortium arrangements, promote innovation and evidence generation, and expand sustainable funding opportunities through collaborative engagement with key stakeholders. DECISION MAKING
The role requires the ability to provide strategic leadership, exercise sound professional judgment, and make informed decisions that influence World Vision Rwanda's resource mobilization performance, organizational growth, and long-term sustainability. The incumbent is expected to lead the resource mobilization function, providing direction, oversight, and accountability for resource acquisition, donor engagement, business development, and funding diversification efforts. The role demands strong strategic thinking, foresight, and a solution-oriented mindset to identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and guide organizational responses within a dynamic funding environment. Success depends on the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build strategic partnerships, navigate complex donor and development landscapes, balance competing priorities, and drive results through effective leadership, collaboration, and sound decision-making.
