2 Job Positions of Sanitation Engineer at WASAC.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow up the implementation of sanitation projects.
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to the Senior Engineers and manager.
• Ensure that sanitation projects are implemented as per applicable codes, standards and regulations.
• Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of all project activities, attend and represent WASAC development at various meetings for sanitation concerns.
• Administer the contracts and monitor the progress of projects from the beginning of implementation up to its completion.
• Ensure that the projects keep to budgets and timescales.
• Monitor the contractor’s execution, invoice verification and monitor the quality of executed works.
• Participate actively in the provisional and final acceptance of completed works and provide advice accordingly.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports of the sanitation project implementation.
• Participate actively along with audits and evaluation mission and implement recommendation formulated.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to water resources engineering.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water and Sanitation Engineering, Civil Engineering
2. A minimum experience of 3 years as Sanitation Engineer, Sanitation senior Engineer in a similar organization or busy function
