Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lessons to secondary students aged 11–18 years.
  • Mark work, give feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Research new topics, update subject knowledge, and develop curriculum materials.
  • Use diverse learning resources and ICT tools, including interactive whiteboards.
  • Undertake pastoral duties (e.g., form tutor role, supporting students individually).
  • Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
  • Manage student behavior and apply effective measures when necessary.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, outings, and school events.
  • Attend meetings, parent visits, whole‑school training, and actively engage in extracurricular activities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and regular classroom observations.
  • Liaise with parents and colleagues to support student growth.
  • Plan lessons aligned with school objectives, ensuring a Christian culture of learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in secondary ICT education.
  • Proficiency in ICT tools and platforms for instructional purposes.
  • Ability to foster digital literacy and innovation among students.
  • Fluency in English.
