Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lessons to secondary students aged 11–18 years.
- Mark work, give feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Research new topics, update subject knowledge, and develop curriculum materials.
- Use diverse learning resources and ICT tools, including interactive whiteboards.
- Undertake pastoral duties (e.g., form tutor role, supporting students individually).
- Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
- Manage student behavior and apply effective measures when necessary.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, outings, and school events.
- Attend meetings, parent visits, whole‑school training, and actively engage in extracurricular activities.
- Engage in continuous professional development and regular classroom observations.
- Liaise with parents and colleagues to support student growth.
- Plan lessons aligned with school objectives, ensuring a Christian culture of learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Minimum of three years’ teaching experience in secondary ICT education.
- Proficiency in ICT tools and platforms for instructional purposes.
- Ability to foster digital literacy and innovation among students.
- Fluency in English.
