About GOAL 3

GOAL 3 is an organization consisting of a foundation and social enterprise committed to improving healthcare in low-resource settings.

Through our IMPALA ward-wide patient monitoring and decision support system, we empower health workers with tools that enable early detection and better decision-making, reducing child mortality by up to 54%.

To support our growing activities, we are looking for a structured and motivated Service Coordinator in Rwanda.

Job Summary

As a service coordinator, you are responsible for managing and providing services to new and existing hospitals, such as implementation, training, technical installation, support visits, troubleshooting, and sharing feedback for service improvements. You will work closely with hospital staff and the GOAL 3 team to ensure successful adoption and use of the IMPALA system at the hospital level under the guidance of the Country Manager and service operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the IMPALA system and perform its technical installation in hospitals across Rwanda using the GOAL 3 service approach.
  • Arrange the planning, logistics, and execution of implementation activities at the hospital site.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for hospital staff during the implementation phase and ensure sustainability after implementation by providing online/on-site service and troubleshooting for the IMPALA system.
  • Support clinical training activities for hospital staff on the use of the IMPALA system.
  • Support in stakeholder management by attending relevant meetings with MoH, NGO’s and funders.
  • Work closely with the GOAL 3 global team for financial reporting, compliance, and adherence to implementation activities; planning and monitoring; risk management
  • Collect feedback from end-users and report back to the international team to identify areas for improvement in the implementation process and service delivery.
  • Help make GOAL 3 a success in Rwanda through being open, honest, and critical of what and how we do things.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical relevant domain (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Health Technology Management, Project/Operations Management (healthcare focus), or a clinical degree with technical affinity.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience, in or around hospital settings, like coordinating hospital device/IT implementations or service operations within healthcare/MedTech.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management and coordination with multiple external partners.
  • Experience with implementation of quality improvement activities or training is a plus.
  • Stakeholder management: Worked with hospital leadership/clinical staff/biomeds and at least one of: MOH/RBC/RMS/RSOG/NGOs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Writing clearly, accurately & concisely.
  • Strong reporting and documenting skills, able to work with different IT packages and online work environments
  • Communication and Influencing Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to listen, analyse, present, consult, negotiate with confidence, and obtain stakeholder engagement.
