JOB DETAILS:
Social Protection Officer
Level:4.II
Job description
• Contribute in the policies, strategies, programs and regulations related to Social protection;
• Identify the performance indicators to measure Social protection programmes and projects;
• Participate in the implementation of the policies, strategies, programs and regulations related to social protection;
• Contribute to continuous capacity development of social protection actors in local government;
• Monitor mechanisms geared to ensure that sector programmes are benefiting the poor and vulnerable groups;
• Monitor the mainstreaming of disability and social inclusion across sectors;
• Monitor citizen subscription to community-based health insurance;
• Participate in Social Protection sector working group and technical working group;
• Establish regular monitoring framework with social protection affiliated agencies
• Prepare social assistance earmarked fund guidelines and monitor their execution;
• Carry out research relevant to his/her attributions to ensure standardized and effective performance;
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor;
