The position will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and continuously improving digital application systems, including grants portals and all other KT online platforms. The role ensures efficient data management, user support, and KT systems administration to enhance organizational efficiency and stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities:

Platform Development & Maintenance:

• Oversee Design, develop, and deploy application portals.
• Ensure functionality, usability, and security of all digital platform
• Regularly update and optimize platforms to meet evolving program requirements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate technical fixes in a timely manner.
• Integrate platforms with other systems where necessary (e.g., databases, reporting tools).

System Administration & User Management:

• Create and manage administrative accounts, including official email addresses for communication with applicants.
• Manage user access levels and permissions across platforms.
• Monitor system usage and ensure performance stability.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Establish and manage an administrative communication channel (email or portal-based) for applicants.
• Respond to user inquiries, feedback, and technical issues promptly.
• Track and analyze feedback to improve system performance and user experience.
• Develop FAQs and user guides to support applicants.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Identify opportunities for digital innovation to improve application processes and data handling.
• Recommend and implement improvements based on user feedback and system performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to digital platforms and data management.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure all platforms comply with organizational policies and data protection regulations.
• Implement appropriate cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Conduct periodic system audits and risk assessments.

Required Competences:

• Strong web development skills (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, backend frameworks).
• Database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent data management and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and customer support skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in developing and managing web-based platforms or information systems.
• Experience with grant management systems or application portals is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in database management and data analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
