TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR PROVISION OF SPORTS SERVICES

Background and objectives

The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) mission is to radically change the way health care is delivered around the world by training generations of global health professionals who strive to deliver more equitable, quality health services for all. As part of this commitment, the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) invites interested and eligible service providers to provide sports facilities and activities for UGHE Staff.

We ask you to submit your proposals for sports facilities and activities. Please be guided by the form attached here to Annex 1.

Scope of the Services and Requirements

UGHE would like to hire eligible, competent and specialized service providers located in Kigali to provide the following Sports Activities for UGHE employees:

• Gym (bodybuilding),
• Aerobics,
• Swimming (swimming pool),
• Tennis, Football, volleyball, Basketball, appropriate pitches.
• Having Golf courses and facilities would be added advantage

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Bidders must have a well and adequately equipped gym; 
• An adequately equipped aerobics room;
• A standard and hygienic swimming pool;
• Bidders must have qualified fitness trainers and instructors to assist clients through sports sessions. Trainers and instructors qualifications must be proven with relevant academic documents and experience;
• Bidders shall quote prices for each activity and or any other optional packages;
• Bidders shall provide all the three activities but must have at least two(2) of the required activities accommodated in the same place (hotel or sports complex) while the other may be located elsewhere or may be provided through partnership with other service providers. 
• The bidder shall have the capacity to provide the required services to many clients at once and on a daily basis with special sessions on Fridays;
• Bidders must have adequate car parking space 
• Bidders must have secured cabinets or storerooms for clients’ belongings; 
• Bidders must have proper, separate sanitation and changing facilities for ladies and gentlemen.
• Any other facilities not mentioned herein.

Duration of Contract or Service

The contract will be One Year renewable based on client’s satisfaction.

Administrative Requirement:

• Copy of Trading License/registration certificate of the company;
• Original or a copy of social security clearance certificate;
• Bid submission letter signed by a duly authorized person;
• Original copy of the tax clearance certificate;
• The bid validity period shall be 90 days.
• Detailed price schedule; 
• At least three completion certificates for providing similar services to Public or Private institutions of UGHE size.
