TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR PROVISION OF START-UP KITS (ELEMENTARY KITS/ TOOLS) TO YOUTH BENEFICIARIES.

- Background
AJPRODHO - JIJUKIRWA (Association of Youth for the Promotion of Human Rights and Development) is a non-profit organization focused on advancing the rights of young people, women, and children in Rwanda. Established in 1997 and officially recognized with legal personality No 19/11, the organization operates within the legal framework of Rwanda.
With support from the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), AJPRODHO JIJUKIRWA has conducted practical training sessions for youth in the Gitoki Sector of Gatsibo District as part of the "Improving Livelihoods for Youth" project. As part of this project, AJPRODHO-JIJUKIRWA intends to furnish the beneficiaries of the project, who have successfully completed practical training in their chosen fields, with essential tools referred to as elementary kits. The primary goal is to empower and support them in effectively putting their newly acquired knowledge and skills into practice.
- Call for supply of start-up materials/kits
AJPRODHO would like request qualified service provider to supply start-up materials/kits that are categorized in three lots namely:
- Lot1: Welding tools
- Lot2: Hairdressing tools
- Lot3: Baking tools
- Objectives of start-up Kits
Facilitate project young beneficiaries to start and grow up their income generating projects/businesses.
- Scope and focus of assignment
The Service provider shall provide all materials/kits [including lot 1, Lot 2 and lot 3] as indicated in this TOR by respecting attached items’ specifications.
- Timeframe
The deadline of submitting application documents is scheduled on 28th November 2023 and delivery should be done in 14 days after contract signing.
- Requirements
Interested and eligible bidders shall submit the following:
- Expression of interest addressed to the Chairperson of AJPRODHO
- RDB Certificate.
- VAT Certificate.
- Two good completion certificates
- Submission and Deadline
All required documents must be written in English and submitted electronically or physically/hard copies in Separate folders/enveloped documents marked Technical and Financial Offers to ajprodhojijukirwa@yahoo.com or at AJPRODHO-JIJUKIRWA Head Office located at Kimironko, Kibagabaga Cell, Street 42, not later than 28th November 2023 from 9:00am to 5:00PM. Late bids will not be accepted.
