Mission Description

Main Responsibilities

Reporting and Compliance Metrics

  • Collect, process, and format the Group's compliance indicators to facilitate consolidation and analysis.
  • Contribute to updating compliance dashboards and reporting materials used by the Compliance Department for analysis and decision-making.
  • Verify the consistency, accuracy, and quality of data submitted by Group entities.

Training and Awareness

  • Assist in the design, development, and regular updating of training materials covering the various components of the Group's Compliance Program.
  • Contribute to the development of annual compliance awareness and communication campaigns.
  • Deliver training sessions in both French and English to employees, managers, and Compliance Delegates.
  • Support local Compliance Delegates in implementing their own awareness initiatives to ensure consistent compliance coverage across the Group.
  • Monitor training campaigns and participant registrations throughout the year, following up as necessary to ensure that established training objectives are achieved.

Compliance Network Coordination

  • Maintain regular follow-up with Compliance Delegates in countries that do not have a dedicated regional compliance representative.
  • Conduct onboarding and provide ongoing guidance to Compliance Delegates to support them in carrying out their responsibilities effectively.
  • Perform quality reviews of deliverables and compliance reports produced by local entities.

Compliance Communications

  • Contribute to the preparation of communications issued by the Compliance Department.
  • Assist in developing communication materials for compliance-related events such as the African Anti-Corruption Day, the International Anti-Corruption Day, and other compliance awareness initiatives, while coordinating the collection and monitoring of activities carried out by local entities.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to updating and translating the Group's compliance policies, procedures, and reference documentation.
  • Prepare Executive Summaries, in collaboration with members of the Compliance Management team, for operational management.
  • Support initiatives aimed at harmonizing and simplifying the Group's compliance documentation.

Profile

Candidate Profile

  • Initial 2-3 Years of professional experience in Compliance, Internal Control, Audit, or Risk Management.
  • Degree in Law, Compliance, Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical summarization skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and delivering training sessions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to work.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Arabic, Swahili, or any other African language would be considered a strong asset
