Job Summary Position

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to manage and enhance our online presence. He/she will develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns that promote our products and services. This role requires an in-depth understanding of current digital marketing tools and strategies, and the ability to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement data-driven digital marketing strategies that enhance the Jali Group brand and support growth across Jali Partners, Jali Finance, and Awo Partners.
  • Drive measurable growth for JaliKoi, including app downloads, active users, and product adoption.
  • Conduct continuous market and customer research to identify high-potential segments, behavior patterns, trends, and digital opportunities relevant to all subsidiaries.
  • Collaborate with the Product, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to design and execute integrated campaigns supporting business goals such as leasing services, BNPL, utilities, fuel, insurance, battery swapping, and other financial services offered through JaliKoi.
  • Set clear KPIs (e.g., CAC, conversion rate, engagement, retention, cost per install, funnel performance) and ensure continuous optimization across digital channels.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report marketing performance using analytics dashboards and tools; recommend improvements to enhance reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Manage and grow the digital presence of Jali Group, Jali Finance, JaliKoi, Jali Partners, and Awo Partners, ensuring unified and consistent brand messaging across platforms.
  • Lead user acquisition and retention strategies for JaliKoi through targeted digital campaigns, creative content, and product-led marketing initiatives.

2. Social Media Management

  • Create, schedule, and manage social media content across our social media platforms.
  • Increase followers and engagement rates through organic and paid strategies.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely manner.

3. Others

  • Manage websites under Jali Group.
  • Identify potential influencers and partners for collaboration when required.
  • Develop and manage budget allocations for paid media.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Experiment with new marketing techniques and tools to maximize the audience.

4. Content Development

  • Develop and manage a content calendar that includes blog posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, etc.
  • Collect, develop, and publish stories of our clients and other impacts made by firms under Jali Group.
  • Write clear, compelling, and SEO-friendly content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and more.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.

5. Email Marketing & CRM Management

  • Design, implement, manage, track, and analyze email marketing campaigns.
  • Segment customer databases to ensure targeted messaging.
  • Use insights to optimize future campaigns.

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, analyzing ROI, KPIs, and conversion rates.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.

N.B:

These responsibilities will be served to firms under Jali Group Ltd, and clients of Jali Partners when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar digital marketing role (2+ year preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with SEO, social media management, and email marketing.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Kinyarwanda languages. (French is a plus).

Advantageous Competencies:

  • Graphic Design (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva)
  • Video Editing.
  • On-camera Charisma.
  • Photography and videography Skills.
