We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Food Technician with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture to lead our Jam operations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Food Science and Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Food Processing and Quality Assurance.
  • Professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Food Processing, Quality Assurance, and certification practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • HR exposure in the African region or overseas business experience will be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure jam production meets all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor raw materials and key process parameters (pH, Brix, temperature) for product consistency.
  • Implement and oversee GMP, HACCP, and SOP compliance across production and packaging.
  • Conduct quality checks, maintain records, and resolve non-conformities through corrective actions.
  • Manage hygiene, sanitation, staff training, and audit documentation to drive continuous improvement.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Solid knowledge of food safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
  • Proficient in quality testing, process control, and record management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Good leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to hygiene, safety, and continuous improvement.

REMUNERATION:
