Lab Technician in Science Education - CE at University of Rwanda (UR). Level: 5.II. Post: 1. Under Statute.

Responsibilities or duties

1. Community outreach

• To prepare practical work for students
• To curry out risk assessment for lab activities
• To collect and analyze samples
• To record and present data
• To control lab stock
• To safely keep chemicals and waste products

2. Lab maintenance

• To ensure maintenance and cleaning of laboratory materials

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

3. Relevant qualifications

• Bachelor Degree is required in Physics or Biology or Biomedical Laboratory Sciences or Pharmacy

4. Added Advantage

• Master Degree/M.Phil. in above mentioned field

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

Exams to be conducted: 1:PsychometricTest, 2:Written, 3:Oral. Reports To: HoD Department of Science Education (DSE) - CE.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
