Senior Internal Audit Manager Qualifications
• Personal confession of Christian faith and commitment to the mission and vision of Urwego bank.
• Bachelor’s degree with a Business Administration or Accounting concentration. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
• Five years of accounting, external audit, or internal audit experience; or an equivalent combination of audit and management positions in microfinance/banks and/or financial services covering business analysis, operations, and finance.
• Familiarity with ethics in general and the common indicators of fraud in particular.
• Considerable skills in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills, and skill in presenting findings and recommendations.
• Fluency in English required; understanding of Kinyarwanda, will be an added advantage.
• Professional certification including Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, or local certification will be an added advantage.

Recovery officer
Adarwa Cooperative is a cooperative registered in the register of cooperatives in Rwanda Cooperative Agency (RCA) with registration number is 285. It’s formed by 157 members where majority members` main activities are transforming and selling woods, the business is located in Musezero village Gisozi sector, Gasabo district this cooperative was formed in 1988 and accepted legally in 2006. The so known Gakinjiro or Gakiriro is the center of woods business from several years in improving the quality of the businesses especially in wood sector.

Context:
Under the supervision of Operation manager, a recovery officer in a marketplace is responsible for collecting payments and outstanding debts from customers who have failed to pay. This may involve sending reminder letters, making phone calls, and negotiating payment plans.
The recovery officer may also be responsible for implementing legal action against customers who refuse to pay. Additionally, they may work to improve the marketplace's credit and collections processes to prevent future debt issues. In general, a recovery officer needs to be knowledgeable in credit and collections policies, as well as legal procedures.
Strong communication and negotiation skills are also important in this role.

The duties and responsibilities of a recovery officer typically include:
• Correcting and receiving payment
• Locating and contacting individuals or clients that have defaulted on their debts.
• Negotiating payment plans and arrangements with debtors to help them repay their outstanding debts.
• Keeping accurate records and updating information on debtors' financial status and payment history.
• Investigating and verifying the financial assets and income of debtors to determine their ability to repay their debts.
• Coordinating with legal and collections teams to take legal action against debtors who are unable or unwilling to repay their debts.
• Communicating with other departments within the co-op to ensure that all relevant information is shared and that all actions are taken in accordance with co-op policies and procedures.
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection and recovery, and ensuring that all actions taken by the cooperative are compliant with these laws.
• Providing training and support to other team members, as well as managing and supervising their work.
• Performing other related duties as required by management

Required Qualification and Experience
Education and Experience
• University degree with 2 years of work experience, or
• Completed secondary education with 4 years of relevant field
• Advanced computer skills and MS office programs, particularly Excel and Accounting software experience
• A very good command of written and spoken Kinyarwanda and English
