Accountant at Gisagara District
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for the daily control of revenue collected by the principal cashier, ensuring all receipts are recorded in the cash book and deposited in the bank account. Additionally, the Accountant will develop quarterly and annual budget projects for the hospital.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Revenue Control & Management:
- Conduct daily verification of revenues received by the principal cashier.
- Ensure all funds are properly recorded in the cash book and deposited in the bank account.
- Payments Processing:
- Process payments for supplier invoices, salaries, and employee benefits.
- Financial Recording & Reporting:
- Record all financial transactions in the hospital’s books of accounts.
- Prepare and file financial statements in compliance with regulations.
- Budget Development:
- Develop quarterly and annual budget projects for the hospital.
- Compliance & Follow-Up:
- Monitor and follow up on financial transactions and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with tax declaration regulations.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (0 years of experience required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (0 years of experience required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (0 years of experience required)

- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong ethical and teamwork skills.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
