Internal Auditor at Gisagara District 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual audit plan and submit it to the Hospital Health Committee for approval.
  • Prepare quarterly, periodic, and annual audit reports and submit them to relevant institutions (Health Committee, District, and MOH).
  • Conduct audit assignments in accordance with International Auditing Standards.
  • Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations raised by external auditors.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments/units to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
  • Develop audit procedures to be used during audit exercises.
  • Conduct risk assessments to address audit concerns for hospital management and health centers in the catchment area.
  • Ensure client satisfaction regarding health service delivery and patient care.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (0 years of experience required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (0 years of experience required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (0 years of experience required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management with at least Foundation Level One of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage Two of CAT/API Certificate (0 years of experience required)

Required Competencies & Key Skills:

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Ethical and teamwork skills
  • High integrity and professional ethical standards
  • Assertiveness
  • Strong communication skills

Psychometric Assessments:

  • Language: English
  • Domains: Assertiveness
