Polaris School, an international educational institution (IB program), is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a Kinyarwanda Language Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
Responsibilities or duties
Under the authority of the Academic Directorate, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- To ensure the teaching of the Kinyarwanda language at different levels of the institution;
- Develop and implement lesson plans adapted to the age and level of the learners;
- Regularly assess students' progress and ensure their educational follow-up;
- Participate in educational meetings and school activities;
- To contribute to the promotion of Rwandan language and culture within the school;
- Collaborating with other teachers and parents to promote student success;
- Respect the academic and disciplinary policies of the institution.
- Participate in weekly consultations
Qualifications or requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a degree in teaching Kinyarwanda, education, languages or a related field;
- Possess a recognized teaching qualification;
- To have a perfect command of Kinyarwanda and French, both orally and in writing;
- Being able to teach students of different ages and levels;
- Demonstrate professionalism, organization, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience needed
Justify professional experience in teaching;
Experience with the IB program is preferred.
