We are looking for an accountant responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The position involves handling financial transactions, budget preparation, and supporting audits to ensure transparency and accountability in all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and control budgets, expenditures, and cash flow.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and respond to auditor queries.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and national accounting standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial systems and procedures.
  • Provide financial data and analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and filing systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1–4 years of proven experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
    • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or ERP systems).
    • Prior experience in a private commercial business accounting environment is desirable.
  • Preferably a disciplined, responsible female.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Integrity, discipline, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
