Job responsibilities
– Assist in spawning, egg incubation, and fry rearing operations. – Monitor water quality parameters (temperature, oxygen levels, pH, etc.). – Feed and care for fry and fingerlings, following prescribed feeding schedules. – Clean and maintain hatchery tanks, equipment, and filtration systems. – Identify and report any signs of disease or abnormalities in fish stocks. – Perform routine sampling, weighing, and grading of fry and fingerlings. – Maintain detailed records on fish growth, survival rates, and environmental conditions. – Follow biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks. – Assist in harvesting, packaging, and transporting fish as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Aquaculture
2 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Aquaculture
3 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s of Science in Aquaculture and Fisherie
3 Years of relevant experience
