Job Description
The People & Culture Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding a positive organizational culture within BRD. Responsibilities include developing and executing the culture transformation roadmap, enhancing employee engagement and well-being, supporting internal communication and leadership alignment, and driving continuous improvement in people operations. The officer will work across teams to align people strategies with organizational goals and ensure compliance in HRIS and operational processes.
This position is a full-time, open-ended contract role reporting to the Manager, Human Capital.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Culture Strategy & Transformation
- Develop and implement a culture transformation roadmap aligned with BRD’s values.
- Lead change management and staff engagement initiatives to embed cultural shifts.
- Employee Engagement & Well-being
- Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and wellness.
- Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations and workplace concerns.
- Leadership Alignment & Communication
- Partner with leadership to model desired cultural behaviors.
- Collaborate with communication teams to promote internal success stories and cultural values.
- Talent Lifecycle & Development
- Enhance onboarding and offboarding processes aligned with BRD values.
- Support performance management and training programs focused on culture and leadership.
- Operational Excellence & Analytics
- Maintain data accuracy in HRIS systems.
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Track and report on cultural metrics and initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation and workflow improvements in HR operations.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in human resource roles.
- Experience in employee engagement, cultural transformation, and HR operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- High integrity and emotional intelligence.
