JOB DETAILS:
Rwanda Country Manager (maternity cover),
Kigali- Rwanda
Practical Action seeks to recruit a Country Manager for 6 months (maternity cover) to be based in its Rwanda office in Kigali.
Reporting to the Regional Director, the Country Manager has overall leadership of the field office and provides effective steer to the delivery and development of programs in his/her area of operations. .

Responsibilities:
• He/She is responsible for the efficient management of the field office resources (grants, awards, staff, and assets) and leads the representation of Practical Action with Country level authorities, INGOs and NGOS, and visitors.

Qualifications:
An experienced professional, you will have extensive experience in operational management, leadership,
working knowledge in one of Practical Action’s thematic area (climate resilience, agriculture, renewable energy, WASH & waste management).
You must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in development or other social sciences and experience working in the development and/or humanitarian space in management or leadership positions.
