JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
1. Manage contributors’ account:
• Work in liaison with branches to ensure the collected contributions are properly and accurately entered in the system and effectively managed.
• Work in liaison with registration officers to update all employers and employees accounts on a daily basis.
• Prepare appropriate responses to all stakeholders regarding their queries/ requests.
2. Monitor and update contributors’ accounts regularly:
• Review and update the contributors’ databank and correcting any error that may have arisen in the registration process.
• Make reconciliation of contributions with finance division and manage contributions sub ledger.
3. Coordinate the activities and staff within the unit:
• Lead a team of officers in charge of Contributor’s Accounts Management Unit.
• Recommend training to increase the capacity of subordinate staffs.
• Take up any assignments and tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor.
• Carry out performance appraisal for staff development and reward.
4. Prepare periodical plan and reports:
• Assist the Contributor’s Accounts Management in drafting the unit action plan and budget.
• Assist the Contributor’s Accounts Management to prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, semester and annual reports.
Job Profile
Accounting Professional Qualification recognised by IFAC (ACCA, CPA) or A0 in Finance, Accounting or Management, Economics with specialization in Finance/Accounting.
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
• Knowledge of Rwanda’s financial management standards and procedures;
• Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices and financial data reporting;
• Knowledge of Management of Material Resources;
• Knowledge of supply chain management;
• Knowledge of Rwanda Public Financial Law;
• Leadership and management skills;
• Planning and organisational, Budgeting skills;
• Communication skills;
• Strong IT skills, particularly in financial software (SMART IFMIS);
• Time management Skills
• Interviewing Skills;
• Judgment & Decision making skills;
• Complex Problem solving;
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage
