Documental and Archives Officer at Muhanga District
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and operate a documentation and archives system for the hospital in accordance with established practices and standards.
- Develop and implement, in collaboration with relevant staff, an information classification and access policy.
- Maintain effective cataloguing and indexing of documents and regularly update the hospital’s documentation database.
- Receive, process, and file documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Organize documentation and archives for each hospital unit systematically.
- Analyze documentation needs and submit corresponding reports with recommendations.
- Enter documents into the database using approved software systems.
- Index and file documents in compliance with documentation policies, rules, and regulations.
- Identify and propose documents for submission to the National Archives Services.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science (0 years of experience required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Documentation (0 years of experience required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Archives (0 years of experience required)
