Roles & Responsibilities
To provide detailed advice and problem resolution on people related issues to business leaders, employees and Human Capital team across a range of areas within the employment life cycle (Resourcing to exit management).
Engage with and influence senior leadership on people aspects of the various LoS.
Ensure effective talent management strategy is in place and actively support activity that optimizes talent.
Ensure people management is central to LoS activity, by influencing senior management thinking and behaviours.
Support leadership development of staff across the organization through different learning interventions.
Ensure that measures are in place to evaluate the contribution that the HR strategy makes to the firm and LoS.
Use HR management information reporting to identify firm and LoS activity required to alter trends.
Participating, when required, in HC and non-HC projects and initiatives, local and regional, as needed.
Provide change management and organizational development expertise for Change processes
and OD interventions for business issues.
Providing guidance to L&D policies, programs and processes as necessary while ensuring alignment with local and global strategies.
Influence and develop the Human Capital Administrator and ensure there is a clear career path/progression for the individual.
Partner with the other Business Units and provide guidance and information required within the teams
Work with HC partner and LoS leadership to prepare a comprehensive Human Capital budget. Ensure adequate funding for all Human capital related projects, administer the expenses according to the budget, and monitor the monthly cost budget.
Identify and evaluate the risks to the people (staff, management and contractors) and in alignment with the HR partner and LOS Leadership, implement measures to control the risks
Develop a communication plan for all stakeholders to keep them informed of the relevant Human Capital related elements of the Firm as well as the LoS requirements
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
At least 4 years’ experience in Human Resources
HR membership from a recognized institution (CIPD, SHRM, or any other recognized institution)
Experience working in a busy, multi- national organisation will be an added advantage
Strong technical and professional knowledge of HR standards and practices backed by a good working knowledge of PwC range of service offerings
Knowledge of labour laws and local regulations in Rwanda is necessary
Good project management abilities and analytical skills
Ability to take responsibility for own development
Direct responsibility for the safekeeping of own work equipment, staff information and staff documents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong networking and Counselling skills
Good computer skills with experience in working with a HRMIS
Self driven and ability to conduct independent research
