Supply and Delivery of Tablet computers for the Secondary Teachers of English Language Improvement Rwanda (STELIR) project - British Council Rwanda

The Secondary Teachers English Language Improvement Rwanda (STELIR) project is delivered in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation and implemented by British Council in partnership with Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB). STELIR aims to improve the English language proficiency of Lower Secondary Teachers in the Rwandan state education system to at least intermediate level, working with 6,000 in-service teachers across 14 districts, plus 1,000 Lower Secondary Pre-Service teachers in training at the University of Rwanda College of Education (URCE), with the ultimate goal of improving learning opportunities for lower secondary pupils.
All teachers who test below CEFR level B1 will take a six-month, online English language course which aims to take them to a confident B1 level.
For the teachers to access this course they will need hardware and internet connectivity. This tender is therefore for the supply and delivery of tablet computers that meet the minimum specifications laid out in section 7 of the Invitation to Tender document.
