The Rwanda ICT Chamber is part and constituent of the Rwanda Private Sector Federation. It brings together ICT Associations, businesses, groups and individuals into a community where they can share ideas on how to promote and develop Rwanda ICT and ICT enabled Industries.
The ICT Chamber has set out an ambitious mission to enabling an ICT industry in Rwanda that will see 100 IT businesses worth 50Million USD each by 2025 and is intending to achieve that through 5 key pillars: Create new IT companies, Grow existing IT companies, Increase adoption of ICTs across sectors, Expand IT exports and Attract foreign IT companies and investments.

About the Role
You will be joining a dynamic youthful team passionate about unleashing opportunities for ICT entrepreneurs at all levels.
The Director of Operations will be in charge of defining, implementing and managing activities and processes that will translate the Chamber’s strategies into actions, with a high focus on: Membership management, Member services coordination, Communication and Marketing, Chamber Administration (HR, Finance, Logistics).
Responsibilities

• Setting up key organizational processes and maintaining them
• Implementing an effective and trustable member information system
• Setting up a member outreach and communication system that increases member trust and engagement
• Conceiving and expanding member services portfolio that increase value to the members
• Driving a marketing plan that broadens the chamber member base and establishes the Chamber as main player in its space
• Onboard, organize and lead teams of people to deliver on the operationalization of the chamber’s strategies.
  About you
  You are young, at an early stage of your career who has demonstrated some level of leadership. You want to play a major role in the Rwandan IT ecosystem. You demonstrate know-how and some experience in member based organization management. You are tech savvy and entrepreneurial.
  You are person who thrives at putting in place structures, processes and methods within an organization and/or project.

  As Director of Operations you will have:
• 2-4 Years’ of experience as a project manager, admin manager or any business management related experience
• Involvement in a membership based organization is an added advantage
• Strong organizational skillset: Processes design, Front-office tools, People management, Data entry and processing, Budgeting, Planning and organizing
• Demonstrate independant initiative taking, critical thinking and problem solving ability
