JOB DETAILS:
Public Relation Officer
Level:4.II
Job description
• Implement the branding/publicity and communication plan of the City of Kigali in the district and produce periodical reports thereof;
• Liaise with concerned District Officials and staff to seek their perspectives or feedback on issues or enquiries submitted by clients of the district;
• Maintain and foster relations between the District and various stakeholders;
• Work hand in hand with the City of Kigali Communication & Community Education Division and Media to manage, update and disseminate information about the District;
• Manage events organized by the District and coordinate the production of related branding materials;
• Collect data, and carry out press review and keep informing to the authorities of the district and the City of Kigali Communication & Community Education Division regularly informed on the image of the District, and accordingly, advise on the management of the district image/reputation;
• Keep the District staff regularly informed on decisions and recommendations made by Officials and update them on various events going on within or involving the district;
• Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor
