Background
The Rwanda Climate Change and Development Network (RCCDN) is implementing the Climate Just Communities (CJC) Program, designed to promote inclusive, community-led climate resilience. The program prioritizes vulnerable groups such as women, youth, persons with disabilities, and people living in high-risk disaster zones by supporting them to engage in sustainable agriculture, disaster risk reduction, climate-smart infrastructure, and advocacy for climate justice.
As part of the CJC Program’s ongoing efforts to enhance household resilience, RCCDN invites eligible and qualified local suppliers to submit bids for the retrofitting of two (2) disaster-affected houses in Kavumu Sector, Ngororero District.
Technical specifications
The retrofitting assignment is for 2 houses, kitchen and pit latrine. The houses should be fitted with gutters (imireko) and water harvesting tank of capacity 5m3. The materials to be used should be of the following specifications:

All materials and construction works must meet recognized safety and quality standards. The construction must be completed within 30 calendar days from the contract signing date.
