Rural Environment and Development Organization (REDO) is local NGO founded in 1999 and since its inception has been working to implement environmental conservation activities in the form of community livelihood improvement and advocating for the development of the community.
REDO’s Mission.
The mission of REDO is to empower the poor communities especially the Historically Marginalized People to actively participate in improving their livelihood conditions by working towards poverty eradication and improving food security and access to markets that provides poor women and men opportunities for economic and social advancement whilst in parallel instilling on environment protection from grass roots, through a participatory sustainable approach.
REDO’s Values.
The vision of REDO is the society where the rural communities sustain the integrated development through the use of available natural resources without compromising the ecological structures.
Under the financial support from Rwanda Green Fund (RGF), REDO is implementing the project entitled " Promoting climate smart agriculture for food security and climate resilience in Bugesera district.” With this project 150 Small holder’s farmers will be supported in farming practices, by integrating trees into agricultural systems to improve soil fertility, enhance water retention, and diversify food production.
REDO hereby invites national bidders for Producing seedlings for agroforestry and shrubs and Producing seedlings for fruits. Participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies specializing in the fieldof Producing seedlings for agroforestry and shrubs and Producing seedlings for fruits.

REDO reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annual the tender process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without incurring any liability to the affected bidder(s).
Please submit your bid in the protected file on inforedo@yahoo.com and bring your hard copies in sealed envelope at REDO office not later than Thursday, 2nd.October.2025, 12:00 PM, local time. The passwords will be requested by the procurement committee during evaluation.
