Data Manager and Statistician at Muhanga District 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete collection of health facility data
  2. Supervise and guide staff involved in data collection and tabulation
  3. Collect, analyze, interpret, and produce hospital statistics
  4. Present statistical results through reports, graphs, charts, and tables
  5. Consolidate statistical reports from various hospital departments and projects
  6. Prepare and submit birth/death audit reports, disease surveillance, and HMIS reports
  7. Perform data entry and participate in data quality assessments (internal/external)
  8. Supervise catchment area health centers to verify data reliability and quality
  9. Participate in hospital operational research and monitoring & evaluation activities
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
