Introduction
KT Rwanda Networks Ltd (KTRN) is the only 4G LTE infrastructure company in Rwanda, jointly invested by the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom (KT) exclusively for wholesale provision of universal mobile broadband network in Rwanda using 4G LTE technology. The wholesale network service for mobile broadband will help to promote healthy competition for advanced retail services and solutions, and will benefit consumers, enterprises and the nation in transforming Rwanda into the ICT hub of East Africa. The company also provides wholesale fixed services based on its national wide fiber infrastructure to licensed operators in Rwanda

KTRN invites qualified bidders to submit bids for the Supply of Ups Batteries.

Participation to this tender is open on equal conditions to all companies specialized in the field and qualifying bidder must present the following documents and requirements in their bids;
• Bid submission form and price schedules and properly organized.
• Copy of Valid registration certificate.
• Copy of Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Three references of similar tenders executed

MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT FOR UPS BATTERIES
Minimum Technical Specifications
• Battery Type: Lead Acid Battery High Storage Dry batteries
• Maintenance Free: Rocket battery or equivalent
• Nominal voltage: 12 Volts
• Rated capacity (10 Hours rate): 100 AH
• Hour rate capacity: 10 hrs / 20 Amps (Backup Time) at 20℃
• Maximum Weight: ~30kg / Unit
• The discharge time: 1.6 times in hour at full load
• Dimensions: 330 x 173 x 221mm
• Operation Condition: Long life, high performance battery designed for standby and cyclical applications (Exclusively for Rectifiers, UPS, telecommunications)
• Lifetime in use: 6 - 8 years (properly used)
• Internal resistance: Full charged 77ºF (25ºC)

• Warranty: 24 months

Bids submission

Well, scanned bids, properly bound and presented in one file not exceed ten Megabytes (10MB) must be sent by email on procurement@ktrn.rw. No later than 12th August 2021 at 10:00am local time. Late bids will be rejected.
